ABOUT US
EHS Key Club is ...
Our club is a community service club that is part of a larger organization, Key Club International, and is partners with our local Kiwanis Club, the Elko Kiwanis Club. Our main goal as an individual branch is to help the Elko community and EHS student body, build character, and develop leadership skills.
Throughout the year, some of the activities we do include:
- concession stands
- blood drives
- food drives
- volunteering at elementary school events
- volunteering at community events
- clean up, green up
- independently run projects
Members must be willing to perform at least 50 hours of community service every year in order to receive awards and special recognition.
This 2020 - 2021 school year, we would like to put a special focus on projects that can help our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have an idea for a project, contact an officer and we will help you bring it to life.
